Ironworth
How We Build

Built to survive the harsh Aussie conditions

Talk is cheap on a worksite. This is how every Ironworth blade is made — from the first press stroke to the last weld — right here in Australia.

Made In-House

In-house design, engineering and manufacturing

Every Ironworth mouldboard is pressed, rolled and formed on our own press brake, in our own workshop west of Sydney. Nothing is outsourced to a jobbing shop and hoping for the best — the same hands that design the blade shape it, weld it and finish it.

That means a curve can be changed between jobs, a wear point can be thickened before a failure ever happens, and every improvement lands in the next blade we build — not in the next revision we promise.

Ironically,

Precision starts with iron

Australian plate, cut, rolled and ribbed into a shape that holds its tolerance long after the badges wear off. Get the metal right and the finish takes care of itself.

Strength By Design

Interlocking ribbed mouldboard design

Look under the skin of an Ironworth blade and you'll see the difference. Ribs are cut to interlock with the frame, so the load spreads through the whole structure instead of hanging off a few welds.

The result is a mouldboard that keeps its shape under load — no oil-canning, no cracking along the weld line, no blade that goes soft halfway through a shift. Strength where it's needed, without the dead weight.

  • → Ribs interlock with the frame — load spreads, welds don't carry it alone
  • → Holds its curve under load, shift after shift
  • → Same design across the Farmer, Rural, Contractor and Professional range

Locally sourced materials

Australian steel and Australian suppliers. We know where every plate comes from, and we can stand behind it.

Built by the people who use them

The blades are designed and proven on real Australian sites by operators with 15+ years behind the controls.

Checked before it ships

Every weld, pivot and cutting edge is inspected in our workshop before a blade leaves for yours.
